Martial Arts Poole

AKA COMBAT SPORTS

Sports for the Community

For local people of Poole and surrounding areas focusing on Youth Sports Training to give them focus, discipline and direction. Including Local Schools and community programmes.

A common misconception of martial arts is that they promote violent behaviour but in fact it is quite the opposite. Martial arts teach children peaceful, non-violent conflict resolution skills and emphasise that physical altercations must be avoided.

Studies show that a complex physical activity, like martial arts & boxing, strengthens neural networks in the brain, and enables kids with conditions such as ADHD to practice self-control. Movement helps them develop coordination while building strength and confidence.

Combat Sports Programme includes.

Strength & Conditioning

Helping members of the community deal with physical and mental health issues through exercise and diet education.

People can easily become overweight as a result of a complex combination of biological and psychological factors combined with environmental and social influences. Is not simply down to an individual’s lack of willpower. This can lead to many health problems both mental and physical.

Exercise can reduce your risk of major illnesses, such as coronary heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and cancer and lower your risk of early death by up to 30%.

There are also many studies which have shown that doing physical activity can improve mental health. For example, it can help with: better sleep – by making you feel more tired at the end of the day. happier moods – physical activity releases feel-good hormones that make you feel better in yourself and give you more energy.
